Considering this Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch the new 421 as well as a Xpulse 210 adventure. This has been made evident by the leaks of trademarks for the Expulse 421 and the concept sketches that were released ay EICMA 2024.
Xpulse 210 and the Xpulse 421
The Xpulse 210 was showcased earlier at EICMA 2024, as of yet its clear that the bike would be powered by the same engine as seen on the Karizma XMR 210. Beyond this the Xpulse 421 moniker has been trademarked in India as well. The launch of the bike has been slated for 2025 or early 2026.

The design of the new 421 has been trademarked. The bike would become a close competitor of bikes such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the new gen KTM 390 Adventure as well as the soon to arrive BMW F450 GS. The adventure Bike segment is soon to get heated as the newly arriving TVS Apache RTX 300 would compete in the same segment as well.
Design of the Xpulse 421
The Xpulse 421 is a much bigger bike than the current Xpulse 210. The design of the vehicle has been crafted from ground up to mimic a serious off roader. The stance of the vehicle has been set to give it a off-roading prowess unlike any other bike currently in the segment. As per the sketches that leaked earlier the bike would have a high set façade with legible wind protection. The suspension duties would be handled by two up side down forks up front and possibly a Monoshock set up at the rear.
Features
The Xpulse 421 is likely to have handle mounted ORVM’s with proper underbelly protection. Beyond that bike would carry certain design cues taken from the 200 cc variant as well. The wire spoke front wheels on the bike upon launching would be around 21 inches. The rear tires would be around 18 inches, the bike would have a dual channel ABS system as well. The bike would have a TFT instrument panel with Google maps and music controls along with ride selection modes as well.
Performance
The bike would be powered by a 421 cc single cylinder engine that would churn out about 40 BHP and a peak torque figure of 40 NM. The Transmission mated to the engine would be a 6 speed unit. The upgraded engine would definitely give the bike more grunt to compete with the likes of KTM 390 Adventure as well as other bikes in the segment.
