New Delhi: The country’s leading automobile manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched its popular 100cc Passion Plus bike in a new avatar in India. This bike has made a comeback in the Indian market after more than three years. It was discontinued in early 2020 for not meeting the BS6 emission norms. The ex-showroom price of the new Hero Passion Plus in Delhi has been kept at Rs 75,131.
What has changed
The 2023 Hero Passion Plus gets the same design elements as its predecessor. But some new graphics have been introduced on the body panels. This bike has been introduced in three color shades like Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue and Black Heavy Grey. It gets drum braking system with IBS and telescopic front forks with dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear.
Powertrain
For power in the new Hero Passion Plus, a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine has been given, which generates power of 7.9 bhp and torque of 8.05 Nm. A 4-speed manual gearbox has been given with it. At present, the company has not given any information about its mileage, but it is expected to get a mileage of about 60 kmpl in real conditions.
How much is the price?
The new Hero Passion Plus has been launched in only one variant. The ex-showroom price of this bike in Delhi is Rs.75,131. Passion Plus will compete with Honda Shine 100, in which a 98.98 cc BS6 engine is available. The ex showroom price of this bike is 65 thousand rupees.
