According to the PTI report, Hero MotoCorp’s Chief Financial Officer Niranjan Gupta has informed that it has become necessary to increase the prices of bikes and scooters. The reason for this is the increase in the cost of components. That’s why the company is going to increase the prices. All the vehicles of the company will become expensive from December 1. While the company’s financing solutions service will continue.

Hero Splendor is the best selling bike

The company’s Splendor has been the best selling bike in the country for a long time. In October 2022, the company has sold 2,61,721 units of this bike. Which is 6,100 units less on an annual basis. The market share of this bike is 32.41%. While CB Shine at number two sold 1,30,916 units during this period. The market share of this bike is 16.21%.

A 97.2cc air-cooled petrol engine has been used in Hero’s Splendor Plus motorcycle. Which produces power of 8.02 PS and torque of 8.05 newton meters. A 4 speed gearbox is available in this bike. The mileage of this bike is very good, which is ARAI certified 80.6 kmpl.
