New Delhi: Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is going to launch a new 110cc scooter in the country on 30 January 2023 this month. It has been named Maestro Xoom. The teaser of this scooter released by the company shows that it will get dual-tone front apron, LED headlamp with X insignia and handlebar integrated turn indicators. Special designed LED taillamp has been given in this scooter. Some of the key features on the scooter include USB phone charger, trip meter and stop/start function, XTec connected features, a digital instrument cluster, notification turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and odometer.

How is the engine?

Talking about the engine setup of the new Hero Maestro Xoom, it will get a 110.9cc engine, which generates power of 8bhp and maximum torque of 8.7Nm. Also, it has been given a dedicated switch button on the handlebar with i3S technology, CVT transmission, telescopic fork upfront to do the suspension duties and drum brake at the front and rear with mono shock absorber at the rear.

What will be the specialty?

This new Hero 110cc scooter will be launched in three variants like LX, VX and ZX. Its top model ZX trim can be given a disc brake on the front axle with a combined braking system. Maestro Xoom can be 1881mm in length, 731mm in width and 1117mm in height and its wheelbase will be 1300mm, along with it will be given 12-inch front and rear wheels.

With whom will there be competition?

Hero MotoCorp will place its new Maestro Zoom above the Maestro Edge in the lineup. Maestro Edge comes in two variants namely Drum and Disc, which are available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 66,820 and Rs 73,498 respectively. This scooter can compete with the Honda Activa 6G, which gets a 109.51cc engine and its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 74,175.
