Hero Destini 125 Old vs New: Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Destini 125 scooter in India. The new tech-loaded Destini 125 is the replacement to the old model on sale since 2018. The scooter has received major update. While the price details are yet to be revealed, expect it to start from Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). Here is all you need to know about the new scooter:

In terms of styling, the new Destini 125 has received massive changes. The scooter looks different now, thanks to a new design language. The front and the rear looks impressive and better compared to the outgoing model.

The Destini now looks upmarket and premium. At the front, there is a new LED headlight with a projector lamp and a metal fender. According to Hero, the new vehicle has a 3X brighter lighting setup compared to what old Destini offered. Furthermore, larger 12 inch wheels is another big change. Also, the engine has received some refinement.

Hero Destini 125: New Design Language

TVS has revealed more of the details about the newly unveiled Destini 125. The scooter boasts an aggressive style statement. It gets LED projector headlight with integrated stylish DRLs.

The turn indicators at the front are quite stylish, while at the rear, you’ll find a sleek H-shaped LED bar with a cool taillight. Chrome-toned accents have been used at multiple places, making the Destini look more aesthetic. The side mirrors too have got bronze-finished treatment.

Features: Comfort Level Up

The Destini 125 gets a single-seat arrangement with a back support pad bar for the rear passenger. This setup has enhanced the overall comfort level for the rider and rear passenger.

The features list includes USB charging port, a Bluetooth-enabled fully digital cluster, bank angle sensor, illuminated switches, glove box at the front, boot lamp, and more.

Suspension & Safety

The scooter has a telescopic fork at the front, while it gets a shock absorber at the rear. According to Hero, the Destini has been built using a high-quality metal body, which ensures complete safety for the riders.

Engine & Other Details

Hero’s updated offering is equipped with a 125cc engine, which offers a claimed mileage of 59kmpl. The power unit churns out 9bhp of maximum power and 9bhp of peak torque.

The Destini 125 is directly pitted against the TVS Ntorq 125 and is available in three variants – VX and ZX and ZX+. Buyers will get five colours to choose from Eternal White, Regal Black, Majestique Magenta, Cosmic Blue and Groovy Red.
