Hero bikes get cheaper under GST 2.0! From HF Deluxe, Splendor Plus to Passion – check new prices

The GST now has just two main slabs – 5% and 18%. While announcing the GST reforms earlier in September, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that several items commonly bought by the middle class now fall under the 18% tax slab. These include televisions, air-conditioners, and bikes with engines below 350 cc.

Hero MotoCorp recently announced that it will pass on the benefits of the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms to its customers. With the new GST rates coming into effect on September 22, 2025, the company has reduced the prices of Hero motorcycles, including the HF Deluxe, Splendor Plus, Passion, Glamour, Super Splendor XTEC, and Xtreme range and has posted an updated rate list on its official website. Scooters like the Pleasure+, Destini 125, and Xoom series have also received a price cut. The maximum discount offered by the company is Rs 15,700 on the Karizma XMR.

The company said the move, ahead of the festive season will make the scooters and motorcycles more affordable. “With more than half of Indian households relying on two-wheelers for their daily needs, this is a timely move ahead of the festive season,” said Vikram Kasbekar, CEO, Hero MotoCorp. “By passing on the full GST benefit, we are reaffirming our commitment to empowering families, boosting consumption, and supporting India’s growth towards a $5 trillion economy,” he added.
