In the Indian market ranging from 350 cc to 650 cc segment of motorcycles, the Harley Davidson X440, which came to challenge Royal Enfield’s reign, competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350 as well as the bikes of other companies including Jawa-Yezdi.
The HD X440 is powered by a 440cc single cylinder air and oil cooled engine, which the company claims is capable of generating maximum power of 27 bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of 38 Nm at 4000rpm. The X440 is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
