New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on two of their Nexa products – the Ignis hatchback and the Ciaz sedan – for the month of October. Buyers will be able to avail of benefits of up to Rs 30,000 in the form of exchange bonus, corporate discounts and cash discounts. Maruti is not offering any discounts on the Baleno, XL6 and the newly launched Grand Vitara SUV in the month of October.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Up to Rs 30,000 off

Buyers going for the Ciaz will get discounts of Rs 30,000, which includes an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. Both, the manual and automatic variants of the Ciaz can be had with these benefits.

Maruti’s midsize sedan comes with a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Launched in 2014, and receiving a mid-lifecycle facelift in 2018, the Ciaz is amongst the oldest cars in its segment. It takes on the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia and the Volkswagen Virtus.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Up to Rs 30,000 off

The Ignis also gets discounts of up to Rs 30,000 on the Ignis hatchback and it includes Rs 10,000 cash discounts on the manual variants. The automatic variants carry a maximum discount of Rs 20,000, with Rs 15,000 as exchange bonus and Rs 5,000 corporate discount.

The Ignis gets an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, and it rivals the recently launched Citroen C3. Its styling comes across as quirky, when compared to other Maruti Suzuki hatchbacks like the Wagonor.
