With the festive season just around the corner, car manufacturers are expected to launch a slew of new vehicles. Here is a list of vehicles we expect to be launched in the upcoming few months. The list includes cars from Tata as well as Hyundai. All the upcoming vehicles are expected to be priced between Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.
Hyundai Venue
Hyundai is all set to reveal its all-new Venue with a slew of design updates and interior changes. The new changes are expected to offer a new aesthetic that has been inspired by the much bigger flagship, the Palisade. The next-gen Hyundai Venue will be a new addition to the sub-4 metre SUV segment. Hyundai plans to launch the all-new Venue on 4th November.
New Tata Punch
The Tata Punch has been a hot seller for Tata, and the car is expected to receive a facelift next month. Going by the spy shots of the test mules, it’s expected that the SUV will be updated with new revised bumpers, a new grille, and tweaked headlamp graphics, along with new alloy wheels. The interior is expected to be updated with ventilated front seats and new decor materials. The car is not expected to witness any mechanical changes.
All-New Tata Sierra
The reimagined Tata Sierra is expected to be launched soon after a two-decade hiatus. The new car will be a 5-door SUV to offer users better ingress and egress. Tata has designed the new vehicle from the ground up. It follows the same design accents that were once seen on the original Sierra. Tata has ensured that the new SUV has the same greenhouse as that of the older model without any compromise on safety, as the brand is now synonymous with robust safety ratings for all its vehicles. While the vehicle has been spotted testing a few times, Tata has not announced the launch details of the vehicle. It’s possible that the new SUV might be launched with a petrol powertrain only.
Tata Harrier Petrol
The Tata Harrier has been a profound part of the Tata lineup, and the SUV is expected to now be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, as in the all-new Sierra. The engine is expected to develop 168 hp and 280 Nm of torque and will likely be offered with both an automatic and a manual option. With the new engine, the entry-level price of the SUV is expected to take a significant dive.
