Based on spy shots, the updated Punch is expected to come equipped with new interior features and a larger infotainment screen than the outgoing model. It will also sport a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo at the center. The new iteration is also believed to offer wireless connectivity to enhance the user experience.

Mechanically, the car is expected to remain unchanged. It is likely to continue with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, delivering 87 bhp of power and 115 Nm of peak torque. Tata will also continue offering the CNG variant, which will retain its current mechanical setup. The CNG version is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 76 bhp and 115 Nm of torque.
