With the festive season fast approaching, manufacturers have started preparing their new prospective launches for the season. Such testing clearly indicates that the vehicles are soon to launch and manufacturers are benchmarking the vehicles to update performance specs. Tata Harrier EV -June 3
Tata Harrier EV has already been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo, and beyond that the vehicle has been witnessed testing bereft of any camouflage. Tata has revealed that they would be launching the vehicle soon on June 3. This time around the special feature of the vehicle would be the presence of an electric motor on the rear axle. Beyond that sightings have also revealed that the Harrier EV would have a rear independent suspension that would allow the vehicle to sustain its off-roading prowess even after gaining substantial heft due to the batteries.

The looks of the car would be very similar to that of the usual ICE powered Harrier, the sealer grill upfront along with a connected daytime running lights and sharper tail lights and aero friendly alloy wheels make the vehicle a perfect choice for users who seek an EV SUV. The SUV would be based on the Acti .EV platform and the dual motor setup would be able to deliver around 500 Nm of torque as per media reports. While Tata has not revealed any official numbers it is being speculated that the Harrier would be able to achieve 500 km of range.

Hyundai Venue Facelift
Hyundai has been planning to give their sub compact SUV below the Venue a cosmetic refresh soon. The new gen Venue has been spotted testing recently. If you have been planning to buy a new Venue, a bit of wait might ensure that you get to take home the facelift version of the Hyundai Venue. Hyundai has not revealed any details about the facelift, but its possible that the car would still be powered by the same engine options as before. The car would get a completely new fascia very similar to the likes of the Hyundai Creta. The Venue would possibly continue the use of a 1.2l MPi Petrol. 1.5 CRDI VGT diesel and a Kappa 1.0 Turbo GDI Petrol.
KIA Seltos
KIA Seltos is due for a cosmetic refresh as well; The Seltos has been spotted testing under heavy camouflage in the international markets. Recently the car was spotted testing in India as well alongside the all new Hyundai Venue. The KIA Seltos facelift would incorporate a front fascia refresh along with the addition of all new headlights that would give the car an all new appeal. Since the car is offered with Hybrid powertrain in certain international markets it's possible that such a new Powertrain might be brought to India as well. So if you, have been planning to buy the KIA Seltos and can wait, you would be able to choose from the all new Seltos line up.
Maruti Suzuki 5 seater Compact SUV
Recent media reports and sightings have revealed that Suzuki is also planning to launch an all new Compact 5 seater SUV. This SUV would probably be listed below the Hyundai Grand Vitara and Brezza, similar to the long gone S-cross. Although details on the vehicle are pretty scarce its possible that the car would compete against the likes of KIA Sonet and the Tata Nexon. It would be fair to say that the Sub compact SUV segment is bound to gain a slew of competitors soon.
Mercedes AMG G63 Collectors Edition
Mercedes would soon be launching a new iconic Mercedes Benz Indian edition. This G63 would be a collectors edition that would probably have a limited production run and would have unique upholstery, trim pieces and Bespoke paint finish.
The Vehicle would still be powered by a 4.0 Liter Twin Turbo V8 with mild Hybrid addition. The engine puts out a 585 HP power output along with a peak torque of 850Nm. The engine has been paired with a 9 speed automatic gearbox and all wheel drive apparatus. The car would retail somewhere around Rs 3.64 crore.
