Carlos Sainz the driver that Scuderia Ferrari Axed before hiring Lewis Hamilton has issued a warning for the Ace driver Lewis Hamilton.
Sainz spoke about how life at Ferrari can be tough even though its a position every driver would want to be in. The Ex-Ferrari driver spoke about how issues erupt at Scuderia Ferrari. Sainz said so to F1 beyond the Grid Podcast.
“We can sit here and obviously do a different podcast one time, and I can maybe explain to you what is tough about being a Ferrari driver, but I don’t want this interview to be that,” the departing Sainz told the F1 Beyond the Grid podcast.
“Sometimes it’s tough, there’s things about being a Ferrari driver that is also tough. And I’m not going to lie, not everything is roses and perfect.” beyond the warning Sainz also said that Hamilton would have a very special experience once he joins Ferrari.
Hamilton Adjusting To Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton has recently become the subject matter of headlines due to his visit to Maranello recently and beyond that due to being on a date with Sofia Vergara. But beyond all that the British racer would soon commence on his simulator session soon on Monday 20th January. The race car driver would than proceed to the race track with the a racecar that is at least 2 years older in the week at their fiorano test track.
Ferrari has been planning a extensive test program that would help Hamilton get up to speed with the Ferrari quickly. Ferrari would allocate a chunk of their allocated testing time to test the previous vehicles for better performance right off the start. As per the news reports Ferrari has booked the Barcelona circuit for four days at end to provide Hamilton time in his older F1 machinery.
If that was not all Ferrari would supposedly use one of their filming days to test the cars at the fiorino test circuit, before the new season starts on March 16th at the Australian Grand prix on 16th march.
New Ferrari Challenger
A number of details have been revealed about the new car since the last summer. The most significant one being that the car would return to Pull-rod front suspension for the first time in the decade.
The pull-rod suspension that is now being favored by many other teams such as Mclaren and Redbull is known for enhancing the underbody airflow. This floor would be integral in producing the car’s downforce levels.
Such suspension would also allow Ferrari to push down the Kinematic mechanisms further down the chassis of the vehicle to allow the vehicle to have better center of gravity. Beyond that the new car would a have a revised wheel base. The car would have a shorter wheel base than before, such changes generally lead to more nimbler vehicle that could be a advantage on street circuits such as Monaco, Hungary and Abu Dhabi.
But would the new pull rod suspension be able to create enough down force to offset such a change? Beyond that cockpit positioning changes are supposedly to go underway as well.
