Avoid standing and charging in the sun
In the coming days, the temperature will be seen up to 45 degrees in many areas in the country. In such a situation, parking an electric car in the sun or charging it while standing in the sun can become a reason for it to catch fire.
Always Monitor battery
Keep this in mind while charging your battery, it should not be overcharged. Whether you are charging it directly or if the battery is detachable, always keep your eyes on it.
Avoid bad roads
However, this advice is given for both electric and ICE vehicles. But this thing has to be specially taken care of in EV. Because the battery system is established in the lower part of the vehicle and there is a possibility of damage which can cause fire-like incidents.
Charge only with the correct charger
Always charge the electric car with a compatible charger. Avoid using the fast charger as much as possible, because fast and wrong chargers can generate more heat while charging.
Let the vehicle cool down before charging
If you are travelling somewhere with your electric car. Then you should leave it to cool down for some time before charging, then put it on charging. Because the battery setup gets very hot even while the vehicle is running.
Always use original parts only
Especially for electric cars, it is advised to always get the company’s genuine parts inserted in it if needed. Avoid getting cheap and local parts, so that there is less chance of any untoward incident.
