New Delhi: Ducati has unveiled the most powerful incarnation of the Panigale series, the new Panigale V4 R, in India for Rs 69.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest V4 R incorporates a number of enhancements from the company’s Moto GP race bike, including engine components machined from titanium.
The R variant retains the same design components as the standard Panigale V4, including a twin-pod headlight assembly, full-fairing, aerodynamic winglets, a muscular fuel tank, a rider-only seat, and a single-sided swingarm. Notably, it has a distinct livery from the other Panigale V4 variants. In terms of market rivalry, the Panigale V4 R competes with models such as the BMW M 1000 RR. Bookings for the high-end supersport motorcycle have begun across India.
