New Delhi: French carmaker Citroën is ready to introduce its compact SUV in the global market, for which the company has already announced April 27. After launch, this car will compete with vehicles like Creta and Kia Seltos in India. This SUV was recently spotted during the test drive, due to which it is expected to enter India soon. This will be the fourth offering from Citroën.
Design
This compact SUV of Citroën can be based on the company’s own global model car C3 Aircross. According to the information, the company can present this car with 5 and 7 seat options, but no information has been given about the launch of its 7 seater option in India. At the same time, its length can be more than 4 meters like the rest of the SUVs in India. At the same time, in terms of design, this car can be different from the company’s C3 Aircross sold in the global market. Also, it is expected to command a higher premium than the C3 hatchback sold in India.
Cabin Features
At the same time, according to the information, a completely new dashboard can be seen in its interior features. Also, a free standing infotainment touch screen system can be given in its center. At the same time, the display given in it can also be seen differently from the C3 hatchback and its electric variant eC3. Apart from all this, features like automatic climate control, rear parking camera, alloy wheels, auto dimming ORVM feature, large panoramic sunroof can be seen in this SUV car.

Engine
Citroën can provide a 1.2L turbo charged petrol engine in this SUV, which will be able to give it 110bhp power and 190Nm peak torque. For transmission, it can be mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.

Will compete with
Apart from Creta and Seltos, this compact SUV car of Kia will compete with other cars like Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider, Tata Harrier in the Indian market.
