TVS has unveiled their new Jupiter 125 CNG at the Auto Expo 2025. The new scooter would have a 2 liter petrol tank as well as a 1.4 kg CNG tank. This would allow the vehicle to have a complete range of around 226 km. The vehicle is not for sale as of yet but TVS would soon bring the CNG Version of the Jupiter on sale in India. The scooter would have a CNG mileage of around 52km. The scooter would have a LED headlight, USB Charger and a side stand cut off.

Bajaj has been synonymous with easy and affordable mobility for the people. Following the same ideology the brand has been able to bring a new innovative product that would provide you with the most ultimate mileage per liter. The Bajaj Freedom 125 has both a petrol as well as a 2 kilo CNG tank. The bike being powered by a 125cc engine the bike offers a peak power output of around 9.5 ps @8000 rpm with a peak torque of around 9.7 nm. On 1 kilo of CNG the bike can provide a mileage of 65 km per liter. Beyond that the bike has been thoroughly tested for safety so buyers do not have to worry about riding a vehicle with CNG. EV Vs CNG Two Wheelers
While EV and CNG variants have been recently launched into the market, if you have been seeking a new commuter vehicle these could be the best possible choices. Most EV scooters provide a battery pack ranging from 2.9 KWH to 4 Kwh. While the charging as well as the everyday use might be cheaper than the CNG as well as petrol powered vehicles, but the overall price you pay upfront could be very expensive.
