New Delhi: French automobile manufacturer Citroën has announced the commencement of bookings for its new electric car eC3. To book this car, customers will have to visit the company’s dealership or the official website of Citroën. For this, customers will have to deposit a token amount of ₹ 25,000. The launch of this car is expected in February 2023 and along with the launch, the prices of this car will also be announced.
How is the design?
In this car, the charging port has been given on the front fender. Rest of the side and rear, the car looks similar to its ICE model. However, there will definitely be some changes in its interior. It gets buttons in the center console to select the drive mode in place of the gear lever.

How is the powertrain?
A single electric motor setup has been given in the Citroen eC3, which can generate 57 hp power and 143 Nm torque. With this electric motor, the eC3 can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 6.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 107 kmph. A 29.2 kWh single battery pack has been used for power in it. For which an onboard AC charger of 3.3 kW has been given. Also, with the help of DC charger, this car can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 57 minutes. While it takes 10.5 hours to charge this car from 10-100 percent with AC charger. This car is capable of giving a range of 320 km per charge.
Features
The electric C3 will be launched in two variants, Live and Feel, with features like 10.2-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, 4-speaker audio system and height-adjustable driver seats. . Along with this, many other features including dual airbags with EBD and ABS have been given.

This EV from Citroën will compete with Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV. The ex-showroom price of the ICE model of this car is between Rs. 5.71 lakh to Rs. 8.06 lakh, and the ex-showroom price of the new eC3 can be close to Rs. 10 lakh (potentially).
