New Delhi: Citroen India has announced the prices of the new top-spec C3 Turbo Shine which starts from Rs. 8.80 lakhs. The C3 Turbo also comes in an entry-level Feel trim, priced at Rs 8.28 lakh, both the prices are ex-showroom. With this, Citroen India has announced that its C3 line-up, which will also include the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol.
Citroen C3 1.2T Shine: What’s so special
The C3 1.2 Turbo Feel variant with its powerful 110hp, three-cylinder engine and six-speed manual gearbox was the first petrol powered C3 line-up in India. However, the model was heavily criticized for its lack of features.
Citroën India introduced the new top-spec C3 Shine for the less powerful 82hp, 1.2-litre NA engine, and now the 1.2-litre turbo petrol equipped C3 gets a similar feature upgrade.
These include electrically adjustable wing mirrors, a rear parking camera, manually adjustable day/night rear view mirrors and front fog lamps.
It also gets standard 15-inch alloy wheels along with rear wash/wipe and rear defogger.

Citroen C3 Shine: price
Priced at Rs 8.80 lakh, the C3 1.2 Turbo Shine is about Rs 1.2 lakh more expensive than the naturally aspirated Shine variant. The C3 now also gets the My Citroen Connect app, which has around 35 connectivity features. While Citroen has added quite a few features to the C3 Shine. The C3 petrol line-up still misses out on the tachometer, push button start/stop and auto AC.

Citroen C3 Shine: Rivals
The 1.2-litre turbo petrol-powered Citroen C3 will take on the higher variants of the Tata Punch and the Maruti Ignis, though neither of the models will get a turbo-petrol engine option. At this price point, the C3 1.2 Turbo rivals even the lower variants of compact SUVs like the Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite.
