New Delhi: French automobile manufacturer Citroën India has recently announced that it is going to unveil its C3 Aircross SUV on 27 April 2023. This SUV will be the fourth product for the company in India, before which the company sells C5 Aircross, C3 and EC3. The length of the new SUV can exceed 4.2 meters. It will directly compete with cars like Hyundai Creta and Volkswagen Tigun.
Design
This new SUV has been spotted several times during testing. The CMP modular platform with the C3 hatchback has been used to build it. The car that was spotted during testing was completely covered, so not much information about its design could be found. Its silhouette design has been given similar to C3. Split headlamp setup, re-designed grille and wraparound taillamps will be seen in the C3 Aircross. The SUV will get a new glass area between the B and C pillars along with a larger rear door. It can get the option of 5 and 7-seater layout. It will also get bigger ground clearance with 16-inch alloy wheels.

Interior
Talking about the interior of this SUV, its dashboard layout is expected to be similar to the C3 hatchback. However, tweaked design can be given to bring newness in it. It is expected to get a new infotainment system with soft-touch plastic material, a digital cluster and a redesigned steering wheel. In addition, it will get Apple Car Play and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a premium sound system, a rear de-fogger with washer and many other features.
Engine
The C3 Aircross gets the same powertrain as the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol engine producing 110bhp power and 190 Nm torque and the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, NA with 82 bhp power and 115 Nm torque. There is a possibility of getting a petrol engine. A 6-speed manual with the turbo petrol and a 5-speed manual transmission can be found with the petrol engine. Along with this, an automatic gearbox can also be found in it.

Will compete with Hyundai Creta
The car will compete with the Hyundai Creta, which is offered with a 1.5L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine option, mated to manual and automatic transmissions.
