Meanwhile, news is coming that French car maker Citroen may also introduce an electric variant of its recently launched Citroen C3 in India this year. According to media reports, this year the Citroen C3 Electric can be unveiled in the festival season and then it can be introduced in the market in the coming time at an initial price of up to Rs 10 lakh.

Citroen recently launched its new SUV Citroen C3, whose starting price is less than Rs 6 lakh. This SUV competes with other popular hatchbacks and compact SUVs including Tata Punch, Maruti Swift, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Now in the coming time, its electric variant can also be launched, which can be cheaper than Rs 10 lakh.
