Three Mahindra cars, Thar ROXX, XUV 3XO, and XUV400 earn perfect 5-star safety ratings from the Bharat-NCAP. Thar ROXX creates history by becoming the first body-on-frame SUV to achieve a perfect 5-star rating in Bharat-NCAP testing. The car earned an outstanding 31.09/32 in adult safety and 45/49 in child safety. XUV 3XO scored 29.36/32 in adult safety and 43/49 in child safety, whereas XUV400 achieved an impressive 30.377/32 for adult safety and 43/49 for child safety. This makes XUV400 one of the safest electric vehicles on Indian roads.
Thar ROXX: The major safety features of the Thar ROXX includes six airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Seatbelt Reminder (SBR) as standard across all variants. Meanwhile, the car also gets level 2 ADAS features, and a 360-degree surround view system with Blind View Monitor.
XUV 3XO: The XUV 3XO offers 35 standard safety features. Key safety elements of the car include 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, ISOFIX child seat anchors. Additionally, the car gets a 360-degree surround view system with Blind View Monitor to improve visibility.
XUV400: XUV400 is the Mahindra’s first electric SUV. The car gets a range of essential safety features, including six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and all-around disc brakes.

New Maruti Dzire
Maruti Suzuki Dzire leaps into India’s top 5 safest cars with its advanced safety features. This came as a surprise for Indian car buyers. Global NCAP awarded perfect 5-star adult safety rating and 4-star child safety rating to the vehicle. Maruti Suzuki achieves a milestone as the new Dzire is the company’s first 5-star rated car by Global NCAP. According to Global NCAP, the new Dzire comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package, featuring six airbags, ESC, and pedestrian protection.
Meanwhile, several Mahindra cars have proven track record of safety. It will be pre-mature to comment on whether the 5-star Bharat N-cap rating for these 3 Mahindra car will pose a challenge to new Dzire or not.
