New Delhi: Chinese carmaker BYD has launched its Atto 3 Electric SUV in India. The BYD Atto 3 will compete with electric SUVs like the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV in the market. This is the company’s second offering in India. Earlier the company had brought the e6 MPV and now the Atto 3 electric SUV has been launched. The company is starting its booking from today itself. The booking amount has been kept at Rs 50,000.

It has a blade battery pack of 60.48kwh, which can give a full charge range of 521 KM. It will take 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent with a fast DC charger. Its motor can generate 150kw peak power and 310Nm peak torque. It can achieve the speed from 0 to 100Kmph in just 7.3 seconds. The car will get three modes.

Level 2 ADAS system has been given in the car, which has features like adaptive cruise control and emergency braking. If a person comes in front of the car, then the car can apply the brakes on its own so that the accident situation can be avoided. It has a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car will get flat-bottom steering, on which controls will also be available.

It gets a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat. It will get 7 airbags standard.
