New Delhi: China’s electric vehicle manufacturer BYD launched its new electric SUV BYD Atto 3 in India. The booking of this electric car has also started, which can be booked by the customers by paying a token amount of just ₹ 50,000. The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 34 lakh. More than 1,500 people have booked this car so far. Customers will start getting this car from January. In the Indian market, this car will compete with Hyundai KONA and MG ZS EV.

The electric motor in the BYD Atto 3 generates 201 bph of power and 310 Nm of torque. The car gets a battery pack of 60.48kwh, which is capable of delivering a range of 521 km on a single charge. According to the company, Blade Battery Technology has been used in this electric car, which makes this battery extremely safe. This car can achieve 0 to 100km/h speed in just 7.3 seconds. This car can be charged from 0 to 80 percent fast charger in just 50 minutes.

Features on the electric car include a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. It competes with cars like MG ZS EV
The motor of this electric car from MG produces 176 PS of power. Which is connected to a 50.3kWh battery pack. This car gives a range of 461 km. The ZS EV also gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, seven-inch digital driver display, panoramic sunroof and powered driver’s seat, 360-degree camera, connected car tech, rear AC vents and a wireless phone charger. The starting ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 22.58 lakh.
