The first BMW XM Label has arrived in India and while this news may leave auto enthusiasts excited, but there is a big catch! It could be disappointing to potential buyers in India that the car is limited edition with only 500 units produced and only one has been allotted to India at a price tag of Rs 3.15 crore. So, only one lucky buyer in the country will get the opportunity to own this high-performance plug-in hybrid. The XM Label comes as a completely built unit (CBU).

BMW XM Label: Stylish & Sporty Exterior
The design of the BMW XM Label impresses with its muscular proportions and the extroverted styling typical of Sports Activity Vehicles from BMW. The exterior is painted in BMW Frozen Carbon Black Metallic, while Toronto Red Metallic accents on the kidney grill and rear diffuser add a touch of elegance. The Iconic Glow kidney grille is illuminated and enhances its confident appearance. The sporty appeal is enhanced by the 22-inch M light-alloy wheels and red M Sports Brake calipers.
Luxurious Interior With Exclusive Elements
The interior complements the exterior and combines a black and red colour scheme and use of high-quality materials. The Fiona Red/Black Merino leather upholstery offers a luxurious feel. Exclusive design elements, including diamond-shaped sections on the seat backrests and a “1 of 500” plaque indicating its rarity, further enhances the cabin’s look and feel.
A specific M cockpit features M multifunction seats, carbon inserts on the gearshift paddles, BMW Curved Display, M leather steering wheel, taking the sports car-style driving experience to another level. In addition, there is a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with 20 speakers and a 1,475-watt amplifier.
Specs and Output
The XM Label is equipped with the M HYBRID system, which includes an electric motor with a V8 combustion engine. The motor churns out a combined 737 bhp and 1,000 Nm, while the combustion engine delivers an additional 577 bhp and 280 Nm. The 25.7 kW high-voltage lithium-ion battery offers an all-electric range of 76 to 82 km.
This plug-in hybrid SUV capable of doing a sprint of 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, while 250 km/h is the electronically limited top speed, which can be increased to 290 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package. What enhances the sporty driving experience is an exclusive Boost Mode located on the left shift paddle. The signature exhaust note is delivered by the V8 engine. When driving in pure electric mode, the driver will experience a distinctive acoustic experience, thanks to the BMW IconicSounds Electric.
Top-Notch Technology
The ConnectedDrive offers a host of features including Real-time Traffic Information, Digital Key Plus, Remote Services accessible through the MyBMW app, and Emergency Call. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional features a 12.3-inch Digital Information Display, a 14.9-inch BMW Curved Display, and a head-up display. The vehicle is also equipped with the latest BMW Operating System 8.5, which allows occupants to control various functions using touch or voice commands.
A complimentary BMW Wallbox charger comes with the XM Label that allows for safe and convenient charging at home. The BMW EfficientDynamics technologies include hybrid-specific auto start-stop, electric power steering, efficiency-optimized all-wheel drive, and active air flap control.

The XM label’s safety equipment is comprehensive and includes Antilock Braking System (ABS), six airbags, M Sport differential networked with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), M Dynamic Mode (MDM), Attentiveness Assistance, Active Roll Stabilization with Active Roll Comfort, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), and ISOFIX child seat mount.
