BMW India will increase the prices across its line-up in India with effect from 1 January 2025. BMW, the renowned luxury car manufacturer, started its journey in India in 2006. Since then, they’ve been a significant player in the luxury car market in India. BMW is a brand known for performance, handling and driving dynamics. BMW has launched its much anticipated seventh generation M5 sedan in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 Cr (Ex- showroom).

The German car manufacturer has announced a price hike of around 3% across for all its luxury cars in India. This hike will include a range of both locally produced models and the CBU units.

The current line-up of the BMW cars include the 2-Series Gran Coupe (Rs 43.90 lakh), the 3-Series Gran Limousine (Rs 60.60 lakh), the M340i (Rs 74.90 lakh), the 5-series LWB (Rs 72.9 lakh), the 7-Series (Rs 1.82 Crore), X1 (Rs 49.90 lakh), X3 (Rs 72.50 lakh), X5 (Rs 97 lakh) and X7 (Rs 1.3 crore).
The imported models include the i4 (Rs 72.50 lakh), i5 (Rs 1.2 crore), i7 (Rs 2.03 crore), iX1 (Rs 66.90 lakh), iX (Rs 1.40 crore), Z4 (Rs 90.90 lakh), M2 Coupe (Rs 99.90 lakh), M4 Competition (Rs 1.53 crore) and CS (Rs 1.89 crore), M8 (Rs 2.44 crore), XM (Rs 2.6 crore) and the recently launched M5 (Rs 1.99 crore).
This price hike was announced just after the Mercedes-Benz has increased their prices. Other luxury car manufacturers are also expected to follow the trend.
