BMW CE 02 Electric Scooter: BMW Motorrad recently launched the CE 04 and now it’s all set to introduce the more affordable CE 02 electric scooter. The upcoming scooter is built for urban commuting. It offers a futuristic and minimalistic design with an emphasis on practicality. Its pared-down aesthetic with few body panels demonstrates a design philosophy focused on functionality. The scooter was primarily designed around its electric motor and battery, focusing on efficiency and ease of use in urban environments.

BMW CE 02 Electric Scooter: Range &Top Speed

The CE 02 is positioned below the BMW CE 04 and is intended to offer a stylish and environmentally friendly transport option for daily city commutes. A 2 kWh air-cooled synchronous motor paired with the single-battery setup offers a range of 45 km. Furthermore, a top speed of 45 km/h is ideal for short city trips. For more power and range, there is an optional dual-battery setup. It pushes the range to 90 km and increases the top speed to 95 km/h.

Specs & Features

The CE 02 is based on a double-loop steel frame, high-quality inverted forks, and adjustable monoshock suspension. It has 14-inch wheels, while the braking system includes a 239 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc.

The instrument cluster of the BMW CE 02 gets a 3.5-inch micro TFT display, which offers basic connectivity to keep the rider aware of important data such as speed, range, and battery status. In addition, there are two riding modes available – Surf and Flow.

Expected Price

Since this electric scooter comes from one of the premium brands – BMW, expect it to come with a higher price tag. The BMW CE 02 is likely to be positioned above the brand’s 310 series of motorcycles. The price of the upcoming electric scooter is expected to be between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
