New Delhi: August saw a lot of action in the two-wheel space with a number of new launches. That momentum is expected to continue this month, and here’s a list of bikes expected to go on sale in September 2022.
Hero Xpulse 200T 4V
Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the Xpulse 200T 4V this month and the updated bike is expected to get the same 4-valve engine that the standard Xpulse 200 received recently.
The bike will also feature some styling tweaks like a small fly screen, new pan on the belly and grail and we can expect to see a set of new colors as well. The Xpulse 200T is expected to slot below the Xpulse 200 4V.

New Kawasaki bike
Kawasaki sent us a block invite for the new bike launch for the last week of September. There is no clear indication of what this new bike could be, but we suspect it could be the W175 that has been undergoing testing for a long time.
If so, the W175 will be the most affordable Kawasaki to be sold in India.
The W175 is a retro-style motorcycle with relatively simple mechanics. It uses a 177cc twin-valve air-cooled SOHC engine. Power figures are relatively modest at 13bhp and 13.2Nm of torque, but the international model has a carbureted engine.
Kawasaki will fit this engine to BS6 specification for India and fuel injection will almost certainly be added, so the performance figures could change a bit.
Sources tell us that Kawasaki is aiming for 90 percent localization, which may result in the bike being priced in the Rs 1.25 lakh-1.4 lakh range.
Ultraviolet F77
Ultraviolette F77 should finally go on sale in the month of September. The bike has undergone a number of changes since we rode the prototype over two years ago, and some of those changes include a different set of batteries, better range and more. Expect the EV to be priced in the range of Rs 3-3.25 lakh (on-road).

Moto Morini
Italian motorcycle brand Moto Morini has confirmed its product line-up in India through its Indian partner Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) and it will include four 650cc bikes – X-Cape 650, X-Cape 650X, Seiemmezzo 6 ½ Retro Street and Scrambler.
While the company has not confirmed which of these bikes will go on sale first, it could be any or all of them.
The X-Cape range consists of Moto Morini adventure touring motorcycles. Both the 650 and 650X are powered by the same 649cc liquid-cooled twin engine that produces 60PS at 8,250rpm and 54Nm at 7,000rpm via a 6-speed gearbox.
