This year, the country’s biggest electric two-wheeler maker, Ola Electric, has introduced a harvest festival deal for clients to celebrate Lohri and Sankranti. On the occasion of Lohri and Sankranti, the company is offering a 15,000 discount on its electric scooter range, which includes an extended battery warranty and numerous other savings.

On Which Scooter Models The Offer Will Be Applicable?

This offer of Ola will apply to the company’s flagship models Ola S1 Pro and Ola S1 Air, which will be valid until January 15, 2024. Under this offer, the company is including an extended bonus of rs 3000, etc. on the purchase of its scooters. Apart from this, the company is offering a flat discount of 20000 on S1.

Whereas the S1 Air costs Rs 1,19,999, the S1X comes in three variants: S1 x(2kwh), S1 x+, and S1x (3kwh). S1x models can be officially reserved for Rs 999. These scooters are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 89,999, respectively.

The Ola future plant is being developed at a cost of approximately Rs. 2,400 crore. The plant will initially employ more than 2,000 workers, up to 10,000 once fully operating. The facility’s construction is expected to take approximately 10 million man-hours. The fully operating plant will be built to Industry 4.0 standards and will have a capacity of 10 million electric scooters per year. In Phase 1, the capacity will be two million units per year. The factory will feature ten general assembly lines and will be capable of producing a scooter every two seconds as well as 25,000 batteries per day.
