New Delhi: British luxury car manufacturer Bentley Motors has introduced the Bentley Mulliner Batur – a new two-door touring coupe. Batur has a new design DNA that will ultimately drive the design of Bentley’s future range of battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
Here we take a look at the things we need to know about the Batur – the most powerful Bentley we’ve ever seen.

Design:
The new design represents an evolution of the company’s design principles for its first BEV – due in 2025 – and the family of cars that follow.
New design elements include a line that runs from the hood along the entire length of the car, connecting the hood to the body. Meanwhile, the visual mass of the car moves backwards, giving the impression that the car is sitting on the rear axle.
The grille was placed lower and more upright. The radiator grille is flanked by a new shape and design of the headlights. These are matched with all-new taillights that sit on either side of the retractable spoiler.
Engine:
Batur has the most powerful engine Bentley has ever had. The 6.0-liter W12 is an advanced twelve-cylinder.
As the W12 enters its twilight years and Bentley prepares for its electric revolution, it’s being upgraded with new turbos and intercoolers. The 6.0-liter W12 is an advanced twelve-cylinder that generates 719.59 hp and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. The W12 mates to Bentley’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Color and exterior details:
The British automaker offers an endless choice of colors for the Batur, with the option of a Mulliner color palette, fully custom paint and even hand-painted graphics. The car can be equipped with aerodynamic accessories of a front splitter, side skirts and a rear diffuser.
The coupe sits on 22-inch wheels, and customers will have the option to paint the wheels to match the body or have a custom contrasting scheme.

Interior details:
Inspired by the interior design of its predecessor Bacalar, Batur builds on the basic design elements of the Bacalar cabin and adds new sustainable luxury features.
Customers can choose from a range of sustainable interior materials such as tannage leather, low carbon leather and Dinamica, an alternative material to leather.
The carpets are tailored to the leather and are made from recycled yarn, a first for Bentley. Clients can choose between light or dark interior finishes, and titanium options are also available.
The “Batur Chevrons” on the outer seat wings are hand embroidered with Snap Orange thread. The interior’s metal accents are a mix of black anodized aluminum and satin titanium. This is complemented by an 18-karat gold Bentley Dynamic Drive Selector and a ’12 o’clock’ steering wheel center band.
