Bajaj Auto’s Pulsar P150 sports bike has recently been launched at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 1,16,755. While the ex-showroom price of its top variant is Rs 1,19,757.
Yamaha’s FZ V3 bike is available in the market in only one variant. The ex-showroom price of this bike in Delhi is Rs.1,13,700.
Engine comparison
A 149.68 cc single cylinder engine has been used in Bajaj’s Pulsar P 150. This engine produces maximum power of 14.5 PS and peak torque of 13.5 Newton meters. This engine has been paired with a 5 speed transmission.
Yamaha’s FZ V3 bike is powered by a single cylinder, fuel injected 149cc engine, which produces 12.4 PS of power and 13.6 Nm of torque. A 5 speed gearbox is available in it.
Brakes and suspension
The Bajaj Pulsar P150 gets disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Along with this, single channel anti lock braking system has also been given in it. For the suspension system, this bike gets 37mm front telescopic forks and rear monoshock suspension system.
The Yamaha FZ V3 gets disc brakes on both the wheels with a single channel ABS system for the braking system. As a suspension system, the bike gets pre load adjustable monoshock rear suspension and convention telescopic forks at the front.
Which will be the best to choose?
Bajaj Pulsar P150 and Yamaha FZ V3 are almost similar in terms of price, engine, braking system. The Bajaj Pulsar sports a slim sports motorcycle feel with aggressive looks, while the Yamaha FZ V3 has an aggressive design and more weight. This is a streetfighter bike. both options are great
