Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Aggressive Looks, Powerful Engine – A Strong Contender in the 400cc Segment

Bajaj has launched the much-anticipated Pulsar NS400 in India. Featuring an aggressive design, powerful 373cc engine, and features like Bluetooth connectivity and three ABS modes, the NS400 competes with the KTM Duke 390 and Triumph Speed 400. This value-packed offering could be a strong contender in the 400cc segment.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400

The much-anticipated and one of the most talked about motorcycles – the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – has finally been launched in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle, which was unveiled as the CS400 concept many years ago, shares design cues with the Pulsar series but boasts its distinctive elements. Here is all you need to know about the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar NS400.

Bajaj Pulsar NS 400: Features

The Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z borrows design cues from the Pulsar NS series. Apart from the blue-black and red colour schemes, the motorcycle comes with two new shades. With a bold appearance, the NS 400 features vibrant colour options and gets sporty graphics. The triple-tone finish with striking red accents reveal an aggressive design language, defining the Pulsar brand.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is built on the perimeter frame and has a longer wheelbase as compared to the NS200. Powering the motorcycle is a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, capable of belting out 39.4bhp of maximum power at 8,800rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 6,5000rpm. The power unit is linked to a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. This same is also found on the Bajaj Dominar 400.

The NS 400Z is equipped with 43mm upside-down (USD) golden-finished forks at the front, while the rear suspension has a preload-adjustable monoshock. As for braking, 320 mm and 230 mm disc brakes are used on both front and rear, while the dual-channel ABS ensures improved safety and control.

Bajaj NS 400: Price, Rivals And Availability

The Bajaj NS 400 is available at a price tag of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and costs about Rs 46,000 less than the Dominar 400. Bajaj has already opened bookings for the bike. Customers can book it online with a token amount of Rs 5000 or can visit their nearest dealership.
