Bajaj has a wide range of bikes, from entry-level to high-performance racer bikes. Recently, they launched the country’s first CNG bike. Bike enthusiasts are now comparing the features, price, and mileage of this new bike with other Bajaj models. The CNG bike faces strong competition from Bajaj’s Pulsar P150. Here are the features and mileage of both bikes.
The Bajaj CNG bike comes with a powerful 125cc single-cylinder engine. It produces 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of torque for high pickup. It is available in seven attractive dual-tone colors. For added safety, the bike features an anti-lock braking system that helps control both tires.
The Bajaj Freedom CNG is equipped with a 2-litre petrol tank
The Bajaj Freedom CNG has a 2-liter petrol tank and a 2-kg CNG tank. With both tanks full, it can travel about 330 km in total. According to the company, it can run 130 km on petrol and 200 km on CNG. The bike features an LED round headlight, a stylish taillight, and a comfortable single-piece seat. The base model costs Rs 95,000. It has a simple handlebar with a button on the right side to switch between CNG and petrol.
The bike features an aerodynamic 3D front design for high-speed support and has a top speed of 115 km/h. It comes with a powerful 149.68 cc engine that generates 14.5 PS of power for quick acceleration and a maximum torque of 13.5 Nm at 6000 rpm. For safety, it has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The bike also has a 5-speed gearbox for better mileage and a 14-liter fuel tank.
The base model of the Bajaj Pulsar P150 costs Rs 1.16 lakh ex-showroom. It is available in five variants and dual color options. For a smooth ride on rough roads, it has telescopic forks in the front and monoshock suspension in the rear. The bike weighs 140 kg and has a seat height of 790mm. It includes features like a gear indicator, clock, fuel economy display, LED tail lamp, and LED projector headlamp.
