New Delhi: There was a time when it used to take months to get a driving license, but slowly now this work has become very easy. Earlier for this one had to visit RTO several times, but now this work can be done sitting at home and all this has happened due to the increasing use of internet.
Now you can apply for driving license sitting at home. If you also want to get a driving license, then first you have to apply for a learning license which is valid only for 6 months and during this period you have to apply for a permanent license and if you have not applied for Permanent Driving License in India, then you will have to go through the process of getting Learner’s License again. So let’s know how to apply for driving license online.

Apply online like this

Step 1: To apply for getting a learner’s driving license, you must first open the Transport Department’s website https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ on your computer.
Step 2: After opening this site, now you have to tap on the Driving License Related Services option given here. After this, you have to select your state and select the option of Apply for Learner’s License.
Step 3: After completely filling the form given earlier for Learner’s License, now in the next step you will have to upload the required documents asked here and after that you will have to choose the date for your online test. After this you will have to give the test on the scheduled date. Learner’s license is valid for 6 months.
