New Delhi: Auto Expo 2023 has started and the country’s leading car company Maruti Suzuki has introduced its first electric car. Maruti Suzuki showcased its concept electric SUV eVX. The Concept EVX is a mid-size electric SUV designed and developed by Suzuki. A 60kWh battery pack has been given in this concept electric SUV, which will offer a driving range of up to 550 km in full charge.

This is the company’s first electric car. The company currently does not have any electric vehicle in the lineup. The EVX model will be launched in 2025. Based on the Maruti Baleno, it gets curvy exteriors. SUV design is seen in it. It comes with an aerodynamic silhouette, long wheelbase, short overhangs and high ground clearance. Its length is 4.3 meters.

It did not get any kind of grill at the front. The setup of headlights and DRLs is completely LED. Cameras have been given instead of ORVMs on the side. There are flush door handles to open the doors. The size of the wheel is also huge. However, at the moment it is a concept model, which can be subjected to many changes till it goes into production.
