New Delhi: Royal Enfield bikes continue to dominate the 350 cc segment. Most of the bikes of this company are sold in this segment. Competition is increasing in the neo-classic motorcycle segment in India at the moment. In such a situation, Hungarian two-wheeler company Keeway has launched its bike Keeway SR250 at Auto Expo 2023 on Wednesday. This bike has been launched for Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Its direct competition will be with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 bike.
The Keyway SR250 sports a classic retro-themed avatar similar to the company’s SR125 motorcycle. The company’s SR250 bike is already available in India. Like the 125 cc bike, the SR250 gets an old school scrambler-type stance with design elements like multi-spoke wheels, block pattern tyres, chopped fenders, front fork gaiters, a circular instrument console, ribbed pattern seat. The features list of the motorcycle includes a round single-pod digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity and an LED lighting package.

Engine & Power
Powering the Keyway SR250 is a 250 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine produces peak power of 16.08HP at 7500rpm along with peak torque of 16Nm at 6500rpm. It offers good torque in both low and mid-range. The bike is available for purchase in three colors – Glossy White, Glossy Red and Glossy Black.
The company further announced that test rides as well as deliveries will start by April 2023. The Keyway SR250 will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, TVS Ronin and the Kawasaki W175 in the Indian market. The latest SR250 model joins the existing lineup of the auto company in India, which currently has seven products already on sale.
