New Delhi: Audi has launched a new special edition Q5 SUV priced at Rs 67.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the existing Technology trim, the new special edition Q5 gets minor cosmetic tweaks and a specially priced accessories package.
The limited edition Q5 special edition carries a premium of Rs 84,000 over the Technology trim but remains mechanically unchanged.
Audi Q5 Special Edition: Look updates
The new special edition Q5 was available in two exclusive paint colors – District Green and Ibis White – along with a black styling pack to contrast the new colours. This includes a blacked-out exterior mirror finish, Audi logos on the grille and tailgate, roof rails and a new graphite gray finish for the 5-spoke wheels.
And while there are no changes to the interior or front trim, Audi is offering a specially priced accessories package that includes running boards and an ‘Audi ring’ foil in silver. However, Audi has not quoted a price for the accessories package beyond the showroom price.
Based on top-of-the-line technology, the special edition Q5 carries over all the equipment already offered in the first version. This includes a panoramic sunroof, power front seats with memory, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, park assist plus and 8 airbags.
Audi Q5 Special Edition: Mechanically unchanged
Under the hood, the special edition Q5 continues with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 249 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the Audi Quattro all-wheel drive system is standard equipment. The special edition Q5 also gets adaptive suspension and Audi Drive Select with six modes to choose from.
