It’s been merely three months since the launch of the Tata’s new coupe SUV Curvv. According to media reports, the Tata is planning to launch two new variants of the car- the Dark Edition and the CNG version.
Tata Curvv was launched back in August 2024 since then it has been popular choice in its segment. Tata’s coupe-SUV design made it stand out in the SUV segment. The popular coupe-SUV starts from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes upto Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom). The Curvv has on offer four variants, along with three engine options- 1.2L Turbo Petrol, a 1.2L TGDi Petrol and a 1.5L Diesel engine clubbed with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed Dual Clutch DCT Transmission.
Within just three months of launch, Tata is likely to come up with two new variants-CNG version and the dark edition.

Tata Curvv: CNG variant
According to media reports, the new Tata Curvv will also get a new CNG variant. However, the officail details has not been revealed yet. This CNG version is believed to be a game changer in the segment. It will be a direct rival to the SUV which are currently offered in CNG variants such as Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota’s Hyryder.
Dark Edition
Tata already offers dark edition for Nexon, Harrier and Safari. The dark edition expected to feature blacked out theme for both interior and exterior. This will appeal the buyers who wants a more aggressive and premium feel.
These variants expected to improve Tata Curvv’s position in the market. More details such as price and launch dates expected to be announced soon, said reports.
