Ather Energy 450S electric scooter to be launched on August 3; Know price, features
New Delhi: Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) startup company Ather Energy has officially confirmed that it will launch its new 450S electric scooter on 3 August. The ex-showroom price of this upcoming electric scooter has been kept at Rs 1,29,999.
The company has also started taking pre-bookings for the electric scooter 450S. Customers can book the scooter by paying a token money of Rs 2500.
Ather Energy recently released the teaser of this upcoming electric scooter. In this, the key features of the scooter were revealed.
Ather Energy 450S: Range and battery
As per the teaser, the Ather Energy 450S packs a 3 kWh battery pack that is claimed to offer a range of 115 km on a single charge. Also, regarding the speed, it has been said that the top speed of the scooter will be 90 kmph. The scooter achieves a speed of 0-40 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Will get color LCD display
According to media reports, the 450S electric scooter will be based on the 450X model, but will get a color LCD display in place of the 7.0-inch touchscreen.
Ola S1 will compete
Once launched, the Ather Energy 450S electric scooter will take on the S1 from Ola Electric . Ola Electric has made a strong foray into the Indian EV market today.
