Ather Energy recently showcased their new EV scooters at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The Manufacturer has brought many new changes to their vehicle. The lilts of new changes include new Infotainment cluster as well as new safety features.
As per companies description of the new features the vehicle would have a dedicated slot of a sim installation that would allow the users to be connected to the Internet on the go. Beyond that the user would be able to attain the vehicles location and trace it where ever the vehicle might be.
Beyond that the company has also provided the vehicle with a dedicated emergency button that would allow the users to share their location as soon as the button is pressed. Beyond that if the emergency button is pressed more than twice it would share the location of the vehicle to the registered mobile number of the user. Its possible for you to register a few numbers on which your location information would be shared in case of a emergency. This new feature could be a boon for women riders who might need such features in cases of need and emergency.
Battery Range
Ather 450 x has a variety of battery options, the scooter is delivered from the factory with a 2.9 KWH battery pack that gives it a range of around 126 km. Users can also opt for the vehicle in a pro version where the vehicle would have a Bluetooth connectivity , and google Maps integration for better navigation in and around the city. Thanks to the Google Integration the user would now have the ability to use features such as auto hold as well as find my scooter as well.
Beyond that, if you want you can also opt for a 3.7 KWH battery pack, which would give the scooter a range of around 161 km on a single full charge. The pro pack has been developed based on the emerging needs of the users. The vehicle would have a advanced riding mode along with a advanced Suspension.
