The new electric quadricycle has been designed and manufactured by Arc, the UK’s first all-electric car company. The company says it aims to further the UK’s transition to clean and sustainability-focused transport solutions.
Ark Zero electric quadricycle: Features
The Arc Zero electric quadricycle is a small vehicle with dimensions of 98.4 x 47.3 x 64 inches in length, width and height. The compact EV has a wheelbase of 67.7 inches while its bodywork and chassis are integrated into a single unit.

The Arc Zero’s chassis is made entirely of aluminium with a monocoque construction adding to its rigidity and safety. The choice of aluminium is based on its excellent energy absorption properties compared to steel. An aluminium chassis is better suited to withstand a crash. Aluminium is also lightweight and will not rust, unlike steel.
This new electric quadricycle can seat two people. It has one rider and one person in the back seat. Its total weight is 489 kg.
80km range in a single charge
It is equipped with a 3hp motor and 80Ah lithium-ion battery. Regarding the range, it has been claimed that it is capable of providing a range of 80 km once it is fully charged. Its top speed is 45km/h.
Ark Zero electric quadricycle: Price and availability
The company has just launched this electric quadricycle in the UK only, where it has been priced at £5,995 ($7,650). It can be purchased directly from the Ark website and will be delivered in approximately 16 weeks. It is available in four colour variants – Black, White, Gray and Red. Arc is yet to reveal when the Zero electric quadricycle will be launched in other markets.
