Ampere Electric Scooter: Ola and Honda electric scooters are in high demand in the Indian two-wheeler sector. Meanwhile, a new entrant has made an impression in this industry. The name of this electric scooter manufacturer is Ampere.
According to media sources, Ampere’s sales climbed more than thrice in 2023 compared to the fiscal year 2021-22.
Furthermore, the company is the official EV partner of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the current IPL T20 season.
Ampere can travel up to 120 kilometres on single charge
Ampere’s strong electric scooters, Zeal EX and Magnus EX, are on the market. A 60V, 2.3kWh lithium battery powers the Zeal EX. It has a 1.8 kW electric motor. It has a range of up to 120 kilometres on a single charge.
Ampere Zeal EX has drum brakes, telescopic front suspension, and twin-tube rear suspension. It has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg. Its charger has a 60V, 7.5A Li ampere output.
Ampere Zeal EX’s top speed is 55 kmph
The scooter’s peak speed is 55 kmph. A single charge takes 5 hours to fully charge. There are three dual-tone body colours to choose from. The scooter is available in Stone Grey, Ivory White, and Indigo Blue.
In Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand, the ex-showroom pricing of the Ampere Zeal EX electric scooter is Rs 69,900. Aside from that, it costs Rs 75,000 in other states (ex-showroom).
Aside from that, the Ampere Magnus EX from the corporation is available in the market for Rs 96,183 thousand ex-showroom.
