The actor Ajith Kumar has become the subject matter of headlines due to hos recent crash at the Dubai 24 endurance race series. The clip of his race spec Porsche loosing control in a hair pin and ending into the track wall went viral. While his fans were greatly concerned, the actor was seen walking away from the crash un scathed right after the crash.
Deliberating about the crash his team released an official statement about how the actor has taken the self less decision considering his well being as well as that of his team’s.

As per a official statement Ajith would from here on serve as the owner and cordially undertake all the responsibilities tethered to the position. But beyond that he would also compete as a driver for the Razoon Race. The ace actor would be driving his Porsche Cayman GT4 for the race.

The 24-hour endurance racing format is immensely demanding, and the team has kept in consideration the challenges that lies ahead of the long season. As the team owner and an integral part of the team, Mr. Ajith Kumar’s well-being and the overall success of the teams remain the top priorities.”
The official statement further elucidated about how the actor would take on a dual role and would be acting as the owner of Racing by Bas Koeten in the Porsche 992 Cup Car (Number 901) and would also compete as a driver for Ajith Kumar Racing by Razoon in his Porsche Cayman GT4.
