After Maruti Suzuki Fronx’s Export Success, Could The New Victoris Be Next? New Details Emerge

Maruti Suzuki aims to boost global sales with its newly launched Victoris SUV, targeting exports to over 100 countries and expanding its growing presence in international markets alongside existing models like the Grand Vitara and Fronx.

Maruti Suzuki’s recently launched Victoris is the brand’s answer to competitors such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. While domestic sales remain a key focus, Suzuki also seeks to gather extensive global sales from the model as it plans to export the vehicle to key international markets.

According to media reports, shipments of the e-Vitara have been sent to 12 European countries, including the UK, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, Iceland, and Belgium. The Victoris will likely be exported to similar markets as well. In addition to Europe, the Victoris and e-Vitara will be sent to various other destinations across Asia, the Middle East, South and Central America, and Africa.

Growing Export Numbers

Recent trends have shown that India’s export-oriented production is on the rise, and Maruti’s share in exports is steadily growing. In August 2025, Maruti was able to export a total of 36,538 cars. This accounted for around 20% of the company’s total sales of 1.8 lakh units for the month.
