While EV’s are a new thing for the Indian market as of yet, solar powered cars are soon to take over with the launch of new solar powered car from Vayve Mobility a Pune based start up. The car had already made its appearance in the 2023 Auto expo and from then on it has been a interesting concept to behold.

The EVA has been launched in three variants and different options such as the 9 KWH Nova, the 12.6 KWH Stella as well as 18KWH Vega. The vehicle would be priced between 3.25 lakh to RS 6 lakh.

The car that has been launched at the Bharat mobility expo 2025 is aimed to provide its users with a hassle free ease of use and travelling with easy charging capabilities on the go. The vehicle is supposed to provide the users with a ease of conveyance and a solution for issues such as Limited parking, Long Queues and hassles of finding a charging station etc.  The car has been designed in such a manner that it provides the users with a  decent range and fast charging capabilities while being cost effective.

Key Features and Performance

The manufacturer Vayve Mobility shared key details about the vehicle and showcased how the vehicle could be the resolute solution to all the issues that consumers face with EV Vehicles. As per the start up the vehicle would provide a  range of about 250km on a  single full charge. The car would be able to do 3,000km on free solar annually and would further be able to support fast charging and would charge up enough in 5 minutes to provide a range of 50km.

Specs As Per Manufacturer

As per the manufacturer the car would be able to sprint from o to 40 kmph in only 5 seconds and touch a top speed of 70 kmph shortly as well.  The main focus of the manufacturer has been on reducing the charges that are often associated with  EV’s  and petrol powered cars.

The cars production would begin somewhere around 2026, and would soon be delivered to people who seek to drive a vehicle powered by solar panels. Beyond that the CEO of the company further spoke about how the synergy between their motors and solar panels is result of years worth of research and development.

After its official release the car would cost only 0.5 Rs per km compared to the 5-Rs per km that a petrol car incurs. The car would be one of the best option for any one who drives a lot and travels about 25 km’s back and forth daily. Beyond that the car is packed with new features as well that would make travelling around with the vehicle a great ease.  The car would have seamless Smartphone connectivity, active vehicle diagnostics, Remote monitoring as well as Over the Air Update by the manufacturer.  The vehicle
