In recent news a Porsche Cayenne Coupe was spotted testing with all new aerodynamic shutters and other changes in the front Fascia and the bumper of the car. The car had the same design as the updated 911 design language of the new 2025 model year.
Porsche has not been vocal about the other changes they would do to the car. The Cayenne’s coupe like body was a part of the changes that first appeared in 2020. The second update is expected to be introduced in 2026, this would be the 2027 model year in the US.
Porsche Cayenne Spotted Testing
The launch of the new vehicle would be around the same time as that of the EV launch that Porsche has been planning. Its possible that a certain features would be similar. While Porsche had formidable plans to stop the production of the ICE version of the car, but with the slowing rate of EV sales.
Its possible that Porsche would keep on continuing the sales of the V8 powered Porsche Cayenne. Similar would be the case with other vehicles such as the Panamera as well.
Possible Introduction In the Indian Market
Its also possible that Porsche might bring the new variant to India as well. Considering the applicability of a SUV form factor in India, the cayenne would perform well. The older cayenne that has been on sale in India has been a popular vehicle as well.
Porsche Cayenne Specs
The Porsche Cayenne that is sold in India is powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged 6 cylinder engine with a 348.66 bhp output and a peak torque figure of around 500 nm. Its possible that Porsche would continue to sell the vehicle and update it with the cosmetic changes similar to that of the global market. Another variant of the vehicle is also available in the market this would be the standard model that has similar specs as well.
