Honda has launched the all new Hornet 2.0 in the market. As per the new details the bike has gone through a wide range of changes. The new changes to the new Honda Hornet would be the addition of new LED- Lighting and a 4.2 inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity feature. The Connectivity app would allow the bike to have features like navigation, incoming calls and SMS alerts. To further ease the riders everyday rides the riders would be provided with a USB Type C charging port as well.
New Specs
The New iteration of the Honda Hornet would be powered by a 184.40 cc , single cylinder engine, that is now OBD2b compliant. The Engine would deliver close to 16.7 Bhp of power @8500 rpm. and a peak torque of around 15.7 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The bike is paired with a slipper clutch to assist in day to day traffic.
New Suspension Setup
The Bike would have upside down forks up front along with a mono- shock in the rear. The Bike would be getting Disc brakes on both the ends and a dual channel ABS. The Bike would now have four new shades that include pearl Igneous black, Radiant Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic and Mat Axis Grey Metallic.
Honda’s Previous Launch
The Honda Nx 200 shared the same design as that of its predecessor, Beyond the design the bike has been revealed with a slew of new additions such as a taller windscreen and golden colored forks up front. These allow the bike to have a unique appearance unlike other bikes in the segment. The aggressive tank as well as the extensions that lead till the seat give the bike a appearance similar to that of a much more heavier bike. The Split seats along with Knuckle guards and Alloy wheels further enhance the look of the bike .
New Features
Bluetooth connectivity Via Road Sync Duo, call and SMS alerts and music control are only some of the features that the bike provides. Tp further enhance the user experience the bike has a USB c Charging port and all LED lighting as well. Safety driver aids would include switchable traction control, slipper clutch as well as a dual channel abs.
Engine And Performance Specs
The bike would be powered by a OBD2 compliant 184.4 cc single cylinder- air cooled engine that makes 17 ps of power along with 16.1 nm of peak torque. Beyond that the bike has been paired with a 5 speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
The bike would have inverted telescopic forks and a preload adjustable monoshock. The bike would have 276 mm disc brakes at front and a 220 mm sic at the rear. The bike would have a ground clearance of 167 mm , a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and a weight of around 147 Kg.
The car would go against the likes of Xpulse 210 which has been priced at Rs 1,51,500 and Rs 1,67,500. Being more expensive than that of the famed Xpulse 210 . The NX 200 which is the the older version of the bike could have been updated better with a new larger fuel tank as well. Honda has launched the all new 2025 edition of the Hornet 2.0 at Rs 1,56,953.
