The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift recently arrived with significant updates in its fourth-generation avatar. However, it now costs more going from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Adding several new amenities could be the reason behind the increase in price. Nevertheless, the hatchback is now more efficient and feature-rich. Customers also get two optional customisation packs – Racing Roadster and Thrill Chaser.
Maruti Suzuki has added two new colour options – Luster Blue and Novel Orange – to the list of existing shades – Splendid Silver, Novel Orange, Sizzling Red, Magma Grey, and Pearl Arctic White. These colour options are available across all variants.
The Swift is offered in five variants – LXi, VXi, VXi(O), ZXi, and ZXi+. Maruti Suzuki’s Z-series 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine is common across all the variants, generating 80bhp of maximum power and 112Nm of peak torque. The powerplant is mated to either a 5-speed MT or AT on all variants, barring the base LXi trim available with the MT as standard.
Maruti Suzuki Swift LXi – Rs 6.49 Lakh
The base variant has received noticeable updates with improved standard safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, ESP, hill-hold assist, speed-sensing door auto lock, and reverse parking sensors. Other features include power windows, manually adjustable ORVMs, halogen headlights and LED tail lamps.
Maruti Suzuki VXi – Rs 7,29,500 (MT)/Rs 7,79,500 (AT)
In addition to the features available on the base variant, the manual and automatic VXi models get manually adjustable, body-coloured turn-indicator ORVMs. The door handles outside are also body-coloured. Inside, there is a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touch infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, four speakers, OTA update, voice assist, and a Type A charge port.
Maruti Suzuki VXi (O) – Rs 7,56,500 (MT)/Rs 8,06,500 (AT)
The VXi (O) trim of the Maruti Suzuki Swift gets additional features like body-coloured electrically adjustable, turn-indicator ORVMs, a smart key with an engine push start/stop button and connected car features like Alexa and Geofencing.

Maruti Suzuki ZXi – Rs 8,29,500 (MT)/Rs 8,79,500 (AT)
The Zxi variant of Swift takes things to the next level with alloy wheels, a rear wiper with a washer, and LED headlights and DRLs. Standard interior features include a height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents, 60:40 split rear seats, rear USB chargers, 6 speakers, a wireless charger, and auto AC.
Maruti Suzuki ZXi+ – Rs 8,99,500 (MT)/Rs 9,49,500 (AT)
The top-spec Maruti Suzuki ZXi gets LED fog lamps, a bigger 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touch infotainment screen, cruise control, a 6-speaker sound system by Arkamys, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and footwell illumination.
This trim is also offered in dual-tone colour options with the manual variant priced at Rs 9.15 lakh and the AT model costing Rs 9.65 lakh.
