New Delhi: Hyundai Creta is the best selling mid size SUV in the country. Last year, 140,895 units of this car were sold in the country. The company has sold 15,037 units of this car in January and 10,421 units in February 2023. Hyundai is going to bring its updated version in the market in 2024 to further increase its sales. The new Creta facelift was showcased for the first time at the GIIAS 2021 Motor Show. Apart from the mid-life update, Hyundai may bring the electric version of the car in 2025. The company has also started testing the Creta EV. Let us know what will be the specialty of this model.

2024 Hyundai Creta

The 2024 updated Creta will get a new parametric grille, tweaked front bumper, a rectangular headlamp with LED DRLs, wide air-inlets and taillamp clusters along with a vertical crease on either side. Also, this car will be equipped with ADAS technology, which will get features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Alert, Automatic Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Assist. Along with this, updated BlueLink connected car tech will also be available. However, there will be no change in its engine setup. The 2024 Creta will be offered with 1.5L NA petrol, new 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options.

Hyundai Creta Electric

The Creta EV will compete with the eVX concept, Maruti Suzuki’s new electric SUV to be launched in the country by 2025. However, no details of the powertrain of its electric version have been revealed yet. But based on some media reports, it may get the same powertrain as the Kona EV, which gets a 39.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The Kona Electric offers a range of 425 km on a single charge. However, changes will be made in the exterior and interior of the new Creta EV.
