New Delhi: South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor will launch its next big launch in the country in the form of New Generation Hyundai Verna. Production of this mid-size sedan with the codename BN7i is going to start with full capacity from March 2023. Now the company is going to increase the production of this car from 40,000 units to 70,000 units per year. Out of which a large number of units sent to foreign countries are included. The company can launch this car in India between April and June.
What will be the update?
There will be many changes in the exterior and interior of this sedan. A 1.5L turbo petrol engine will be replaced with a 1.0L turbo engine in this car. There will also be a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine option. This gasoline engine will be equipped with idle start/stop technology, which will provide 115 bhp power and 144 Nm torque. This car will get the option of manual or automatic gearbox.

How will the features be?
Talking about the features of new generation Verna, the biggest update will be seen in the form of ADAS. With this system, features like automatic emergency braking, front collision mitigation, lane keep assist, lane warning will be available. The car will get a dual screen setup, one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster, which will support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
How will be the look?
The new 2023 Hyundai Verna will get a new design, which will get a new parametric jewel design grille like the new Tucson. It will get a tapered roof with fastback, full LED headlamps, revised front bumper and split taillamps. The car will be longer and wider than the current Verna and will get more cabin space and boot space.

Skoda will compete with Slavia
Upon launch, the car will compete with the Skoda Slavia, which is offered with a 1.0L and a 1.5L engine option. It has both manual and automatic transmission options.
