New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new model of its popular bike, Honda Shine 125. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has introduced the latest motorcycle at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹79,800. The bike is available in two variants – drum and disc options. Considering the new emission regulations, the company has upgraded the bike. The new model of Shine is OBD2 compliant and supports E20 fuel. In addition, customers will also benefit from a new warranty scheme.
The 2023 Honda Shine 125 is presented with five color options, including Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Matte Axis Grey, Rebel Red Metallic, and Descent Blue Metallic.
The new Honda bike has a ground clearance of 162 mm and a wheelbase of 1,285 mm. The length of the single-piece seat is 651 mm, while the seat height is 791 mm, which will be comfortable for most riders.
Price and 10-year warranty:
The new version of Honda Shine 125 is available in the market with two variants. If you purchase the drum variant, you will have to pay ₹79,000 ex-showroom price. On the other hand, the price of the disc variant of Honda Shine 125 is ₹83,800. The new bike will feature telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic-type rear shock absorbers.
Honda Shine comes with a three-year warranty. However, if desired, you can opt for an extended warranty option and enjoy a total of 10 years of warranty coverage.

The Japanese motorcycle company has launched the latest model of Shine 125 with a BS6 OBD2 compliant 125 cc PGM-FI engine, along with enhanced smart power (eSP) feature support. The bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. Several upgrades have been made to enhance the engine’s performance.

The new motorcycle includes features such as a combi-braking system, side-stand cut-off, halogen headlamp, engine kill switch, sealed chain, and an analog speedometer. Honda has utilized an external fuel pump, keeping in mind the bike’s easy maintenance. Additionally, the bike will start without any noise using the ACG starter.
